Pickle Pitch
The Pickle Pitch is a chance to see how ma foam pickles you can pitch into a barrel in 15 seconds!
There will be up to 15 people competing per heat every 10-15 minutes. Sign up for this event will begin at 9:00 at Wolf Field. (Athletic fields between Dillsburg Elementary & ACE Hardware.)
The top three in each age group will be awarded prizes!
Age group & Starting Times
Ages 4-8 9:10 a.m.
Ages 9-12 9:20 a.m.
Ages 13 & up 9:35 & 9:45 a.m.
Horseshoe Pitch
Team up and come to the athletic field on Saturday morning at 10:00 to pitch horse shoes. If you don’t have a pitching partner, you can find one at the pitch. Pitching is open to amateurs only.
1st Prize Team: $200
2nd Prize Team: $150
3rd Prize Team: $100
4th Prize Team: $50
Pedal Power
Pedal power is an extremely popular event at Farmers Fair. Contestants attempt to pedal a tractor pulling a weight transfer sled 22 feet! The contest and registration take place Saturday at the front of the Dillsburg Elementary parking lot next to the Craft Fair. Registration begins at 10 a.m. No registration will be accepted after 10:55 a.m. as the contest begins promptly at 11 a.m. Competing age groups are: 4-5 years; 6-7 years; and 8-9 years. Each participant will receive a ribbon and t-shirt!
